just got done with homework- it was fun actually. i had to look in depth at the life of Nehemiah 

and try and figure out all these different things. It got kinda confusing, seeing as there was either 10 different King Artaxerxes 

or just one with different names.. ughghghhg. We will never know.

Esther is an amazing story however. I like reading it.. but somehow thanks to veggietales I always think of Mordecai

as a grape and Hamen as a peach and the king as a pickle or whatever he was.

Today i thought a lot about the upcoming holidays.. I am so excited. I love

Thanksgiving. And Leftovers. And Miracle on 34th Street. And camping out with

Jason and the girls outside Circuit City for Black Friday deals. AHHH so much fun. I love life. And winter.

Hopefully it will get cold sooon.. i like seeing my breath

outside.. and wearing scarfs and boots. mmmmm (: and bonfires. and 94.9 christmas music. 

WAIT! would that be considered secular music?

Sigh. It really is the most wonderful time of the year.

third, study groups at starbucks are not a good idea. we don't get anything done. I think out of the four hours we were there, 30 minutes of it was good solid work.

i stay up too late, wake up too early, procrastinate on homework,  have unhealthy eating habits, and break rules too much.

and life has never been better.

but, i know it will only get even more awesome once i start doin things right- so i'm working on that.

i want to start taking more pictures of the simple things in life.. you know, back to things that usually go unnoticed or are just simply taken advantage of because they are so common. I don't know. 

today i went to a 50th birthday party with the fam. It was nice just being together for once.. our schedules have been so busy lately and they all conflict with eachother, so it's hard to have good family time, you know? Anyway, there was an open bar.. and lemme tell ya, i took advantage of all dem free shirley temples, if you know what i mean (;
